Chihuahua Names
101 Names for your New Chihuahua Puppy
The Chihuahua names list is another fun one since Chihuahuas are so popular and often in the limelight. Ever heard of Paris Hilton? Of course you have.
Before you reached this page, you probably already knew about her Chihuahua puppy named Tinkerbell. Another of her Chi pups is “Bambi,” and she also has a Yorkshire Terrier.
Another famous Chi name is Gidget from the popular Taco Bell commercials. Yo quiero Taco Bell? In the animated famous dog names category, Tito was a Chihuahua in Disney’s Oliver and Company.
When I put the Chihuahua names list together, some of my picks were in the “obvious” category, like Chi Chi and Tiny. Some were opposites of this little dog’s stature, like Hulk and Big Boy, and some I just liked.
For example, Gizmo, which also appears on the Pug dog names list, reminds me of a character in the Gremlins movie from the 1980s. I also like Willy, but not for any particular reason.
One thing to remember when naming your Chihuahua puppy is to match your dog’s personality and purpose with their name. Some people like one syllable dog names and others just want something cute, clever or fun. Famous dog names are also popular choices.
