Andrew, that's a great name. When I think of naming a dog Scamp, I think of a small dog breed. Something like a Boston Terrier or maybe a Miniature Schnauzer.

However, now that I have seen a picture of your Scamp, I think it really comes down to personality and personal taste.

Although I cannot picture a very large dog named Scamp, I do think the name could be used for a variety of different dog breeds. Enjoy your dog!
